Gypsum Grill & Event Center offers unrivaled events at an affordable price.

With full-service event catering & banquet services, the fully enclosed, air-conditioned indoor banquet space has large panoramic windows allowing for natural light and breathtaking views of the Mines Golf Club below. The facility also features two outdoor ceremony sites.

Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions

Gypsum's venue at the Mines Golf Club has quickly become a favorite. Beautiful vista views and a covered patio add to the ambience. With only a short drive to Downtown Grand Rapids; it is a uniquely located venue. Now scheduling tours & reserving dates for 2027!

FAQ

Yes! Gypsum offers discounted wedding reception rentals during the off-season months from January through April, and November & December dates. Our peak season is May through October! Please contact mackenzie@gypsumevents.com via email for rates.

Our peak season includes dates May through October! Food & beverage minimums do apply for Fridays & Saturdays.
Sunday through Thursday Wedding Reception Rental: $1,250
Friday Wedding Reception Rental: $2,500
Saturday Wedding Reception Rental: $3,000
Add an outdoor ceremony: Starting at $1,000

Yes! Outside dessert can be brought to the venue for a $2 per person cake cutting fee from an approved licensed & certified dessert vendor. All other food & beverages are through Gypsum!

The reception room can hold up to 250 guests. We recommend closer to 220 guests for weddings!
